Headquartered in New York City, Urban American Management is a premier multifamily housing provider that offers housing options within the New York metropolitan region. Urban American Management supports several nonprofit endeavors, including Team Rubicon.

Founded in 2010, Team Rubicon came about when U.S. Marines William McNulty and Jacob Wood saw firsthand a need to unite skills and experiences of first responders alongside military veterans. The two Marines went to help Haitians after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit, and they worked closely with six other veterans and first responders to gather funds and medical supplies for those affected. Since it began, Team Rubicon has turned into the only nonprofit disaster response organization to use the skills of military veterans to support affected communities.

In June 2016, Team Rubicon announced that Nancy Dubuc has joined its board of directors. Ms. Dubuc, who is the president and chief executive officer of A&E Networks, has supported veterans through partnerships, programs, and outreach initiatives on behalf of A&E Networks. Since 2012, A&E Networks has partnered with Team Rubicon and highlighted the organization’s mission across all its media platforms.
